She obtained her BA from University of California, Riverside and her MFA from California State University, Long Beach, both in creative writing. She is known for being a heart finder. She sees hearts in the shape of rocks, clouds, egg yolks, apple cores, you name it! She is also certified as a Spiritual Life Coach. She resides in Los Alamitos, California, with her children. Somewhere Between Dandelions is her first novel, but it won’t be her last.
“This book deals with loss, love, healing, secrets, and learning to forgive. Claire is a high school student who doesn’t have many people in her corner. Her Mimi who took care of her from a young age, dies. Her mother is an alcoholic s ignores her, her best friend moves away. She’s liked Finn since they were young. He finally asks her out and it’s as if they’ve known each other forever. They have an amazing date, then he too dies, then she realizes she can see his ghost.
It’s about gifts from beyond the grave, about love and learning to love and forgive. It is beautifully written and touched me due my own grief that I feel.
This story will pull on your heart strings and maybe help you to deal with grief and forgiveness.”
